Sweden Home Price Expectations Hit Lowest Since Financial Crisis

A closely watched indicator of Swedish home prices fell to its lowest level since the global financial crisis amid higher mortgage rates and inflation accelerating to a three-decade high.

For the month of August, SEB’s Swedish housing-price indicator -- representing the difference between the proportion of respondents who believe in rising prices versus who expect to see a fall -- slumped 15 points to minus 42, the lowest since 2008.
