Microsoft Corp. co-founder Paul Allen’s estate has shed more of his US residential real estate holdings, selling a group of properties on Mercer Island near Seattle just weeks after closing on the sale of a pair of New York apartments.
Six houses and two additional parcels of land on Mercer Island fetched a total of $67 million, according to records filed this week. Three of the homes were mansions with at least 10,000 square feet (929 square meters) of space on or near the island’s western coast. The buyer was a Washington State-based limited liability company that listed its address as a Seattle law office.
