Asian Markets Rise Ahead of US Inflation Data

Beijing (AP) -- Asian stock markets rose Wednesday as investors waited for U.S. inflation data some worry might lead to more interest rate hikes.

Shanghai, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Seoul rose. Sydney declined. Oil prices rebounded from Tuesday's plunge but stayed below $100 per barrel.
