British sunseekers heading to the beach over the long weekend are bracing for scenes of chaos at airports, leaving the aviation industry and government arguing over who is to blame. 

Social media has been awash with complaints about long queues at security -- in some cases leading to missed flights -- and the government said it’s meeting with airlines, airports and ground handlers over how to rectify the situation.
