Representative Lucy McBath defeated fellow Democratic Representative Carolyn Bourdeaux Tuesday in a Georgia primary that pitted two incumbent congresswomen against each other because of redistricting and caused hard feelings among Atlanta-area Democrats.
With about half the vote counted, McBath was leading with 64% of the vote to Bourdeaux’s 31%, according to the Associated Press, which declared McBath the winner.
