MTV-era rock band Mötley Crüe, which once vowed to never play live again, is riding the success of a couple of streaming TV programs into one of the top-selling concert tours this summer.
With 36 live dates, the band’s comeback tour has sold over one million tickets, according to the Mötley Crüe website. Ticket reseller StubHub said the tour is the site’s most in-demand. The band is co-headlining with English hard rockers Def Leppard. Poison and Joan Jett will be opening the shows.
