Spain is applying sanctions on “real estate assets owned by Russian oligarchs,” Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said in a press conference in Bucharest Thursday.
Sanchez didn’t provide further details regarding the assets. The government this week announced that it had impounded three yachts in connection with European sanctions against Russian individuals.
