Libyan lawmakers approved the government of parliament-appointed Prime Minister Fathi Bashagha on Tuesday, a step likely to sow further discord in an OPEC nation struggling to find political stability.
Bashagha’s administration of 29 ministers and six state ministers won the backing of 92 lawmakers out of the 100 who took part in a confidence vote. The formation didn’t include an oil ministry.
