Southeast Insurance Co. and Thai Insurance Pcl, controlled by Sirivadhanabhakdi’s Thai Group Holdings Pcl, last month sought to cease operations of their non-life divisions, saying they could no longer cover mounting costs related to Covid-19 claims by policyholders.
