U.K. Scrambles Fighter Jets to Intercept Unidentified Aircraft

The U.K. scrambled Typhoon fighter jets to intercept and escort four Russian bomber aircraft approaching its area of interest, the Ministry of Defence said.

The British planes, deployed from a Royal Air Force base in Scotland, were supported by an air-to-air refueling tanker, according to a statement on Wednesday from the ministry.
