France will stick to plans to loosen Covid-19 restrictions as the number of cases starts to fall slightly, government spokesman Gabriel Attal said on Tuesday.

“We’re going to respect the timetable we presented to the French people, by lifting the restrictions in two stages,” Attal told France Info radio in an interview.
