Prada Says Sales Surged Last Year, Exceeding Pre-Pandemic Levels

  • Revenue was 8% higher than in 2019 at constant exchange rates
  • Italian fashion brand also points to significant earnings gain

Prada SpA said sales last year rebounded above pre-pandemic levels as the Italian fashion brand emerged from the worst of lockdowns.

Sales soared 41% at constant exchange rates to 3.36 billion euros ($3.83 billion), the company said in a statement Tuesday. That beat analysts’ revenue estimates of 3.26 billion euros. The total was also 8% above the level of 2019, pointing to a full pandemic recovery.
