ProShares is planning to launch an exchange-traded fund focused on the metaverse, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. 

If approved, the ProShares Metaverse Theme ETF will track the performance of the Solactive Metaverse Theme Index.
