August von Finck, Heir to German Banking Fortune, Dies at 91

August von Finck Jr., the German billionaire who sold his stake in a family-owned investment bank and took control of Swiss companies such as Moevenpick Holding AG and Von Roll Holding AG, has died. He was 91.

His death was confirmed by Annemarie Thoene, a representative for the von Finck family, who declined to comment further. He resided in the medieval Weinfelden Castle in the Switzerland’s Thurgau canton.
