U.K. Electric Vehicle Supercharging Firm to Expand to U.S., Asia

  • Gridserve expects to announce fuel station projects in months
  • Firm builds solar and battery capacity to power its chargers

A U.K. company is in discussions with fuel forecourt operators in Europe, Asia and the U.S. to install vehicle-charging facilities that use electricity generated from renewable sources. 

Gridserve Holdings Ltd. is already building a network of fast-charging hubs in Britain and now is planning to expand further afield. The initial international projects will be announced within the next few months, said Toddington Harper, founder and chief executive officer.
