Rich Nations Shouldn’t Take Booster Shots, India Non-Profit Says

Rich countries with large supplies of coronavirus vaccines should refrain from offering booster shots while a huge unvaccinated population globally remains vulnerable to contagious variants, the president of the Public Health Foundation of India said.

K. Srinath Reddy was weighing in on an ongoing global debate on whether to use booster shots, as countries with ample vaccine supplies are mulling on additional inoculations to boost immunity and stop the spread of the highly infectious delta variant.
