Uber Ramps Up On-Demand Grocery Expansion in the U.S.

  • Service is now available in more than 400 U.S. cities
  • Rollout includes a 1,200 store partnership with Albertsons

Uber Technologies, Inc. is accelerating its on-demand grocery delivery service in the U.S., more than doubling the cities where it’s available and partnering with a major grocer as the pandemic-fueled delivery competition heats up.

After launching its grocery delivery service last July, Uber said on Monday that it can now be used in more than 400 locations in the U.S. including major metropolises like New York, San Francisco and Washington.
