Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell said he’s ready to make a deal allowing Democrats to take control of the evenly divided Senate, relenting after it became clear Democrats didn’t have the votes to eliminate the filibuster.

This means Republicans can still block key parts of President Joe Biden’s agenda.
