Argentina, the world’s third-biggest corn exporter, called off a ban on shipments of the grain and will instead enact a daily sales cap to protect supplies at home.

The South American powerhouse food producer had suspended corn exports at the end of December until March, when the next harvest starts to roll in, to ensure a healthy offer of livestock feed and tame food inflation.
