The Commission on Presidential Debates will mute the microphones of Joe Biden and President Donald Trump for parts of Thursday’s encounter. A court ruled that Texas could reject mail-in ballots without notifying voters when signatures don’t match what’s on file. And an Indian-American political action committee will spend $10 million to get the vote out for Biden, the Democratic nominee, and his running mate Kamala Harris.

There are 15 days until the election and 56 days until the Electoral College meets.
