Madrid Region Orders Masks to Be Worn in All Public Spaces

  • Restaurant capacity to be cut, night clubs to close at 1 p.m.
  • Measures take effect Thursday, regional president Ayuso Says

Madrid is joining other regions of Spain in ordering the use of face masks in public spaces, including in its bars and restaurants that are a prime tourist attraction.
