Secretary of State Michael Pompeo said the U.S. will impose visa restrictions on some employees of Huawei Technologies Co. over the Chinese Communist Party’s human rights abuses, including against Muslims and other minorities.

“Telecommunications companies around the world should consider themselves on notice: If they are doing business with Huawei, they are doing business with human rights abusers,” Pompeo said in a statement Wednesday.
