U.K. Seeks Cold Storage Warehouse to Hold Bodies

The U.K. government has begun a search for cold-storage warehouses to handle a possible overflow of dead bodies from the coronavirus pandemic, according to people familiar with the situation.

Real estate consultant Avison Young has been instructed to help the Crown Commercial Service look for several appropriate warehouse buildings of as much as 250,000 square feet (23,000 square meters), said the people, who asked not to be identified because the matter is private.
