Bank of America Corp. named Matt Cannon as the new head of investment banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, replacing Luigi Rizzo, who has decided to leave the firm, according to people familiar with the matter.
Cannon, who helps run U.K. and Ireland corporate and investment banking, will assume the new role from London, the people said, asking not to be identified because the discussions are private. A spokesman for Bank of America declined to comment.
