French Economic Growth Revised Lower, Weakest Since 2016: Chart

The French economy grew less than initially estimated in the first quarter, according to an update from the nation’s statistics office. The 0.2 percent expansion was down from 0.7 percent in the previous three months and the weakest since the third quarter of 2016. Exports and imports fell 0.3 percent, household spending rose just 0.1 percent.
