Nintendo Co.’s hybrid gaming console Switch has remained in short supply since its March release, a situation investors worry will persist into the critical year-end shopping season. But a recent inventory spike on the balance sheet indicates it’s producing enough for the holidays. For Macquarie analyst David Gibson, that’s a sign Nintendo can meet its full-year goal of selling 14 million units, a target it increased this week while upgrading its profit outlook.
