Puerto Rico Is Still in the Dark

Hurricane Maria leaves most of island without power more than three weeks after making landfall

While President Donald Trump suggests that federal agencies may pull out of storm-wrecked Puerto Rico, most of the U.S. territory remains without power. More than three weeks after Hurricane Maria devastated the island, almost 90 percent of customers are still in the dark. Outages actually rose on Wednesday after a power tie line apparently tripped.
