Canadian Youth May Be Cutting Work to Go to School

Canada’s youth unemployment rate fell to the lowest on record in September at 10.3 percent, but the news isn’t all good. Statistics Canada said Friday the drop was triggered by 15- to 24-year-olds dropping out of the labor market, with full-time school attendance reaching a rate of 56 percent -- the highest of any September since 2011.
