Mario Draghi Is Very Proud of the Euro-Area Labor Market: Chart

Euro-area employment rose an annual 1.6 percent in the three months through June, a 14th consecutive gain and a fact not lost on ECB President Mario Draghi. Talking about the economic recovery last week, he noted that 6 million jobs have been created since 2013, which is helping consumption and the economy. That performance is the basis for his view that inflation will get back to target eventually.
