While most Asian emerging and frontier stock markets have lured foreign cashthis year, only one has managed to attract inflows every month. It’s Vietnam, whose total market capitalization has expanded 37 percent in 2017 amid a flurry of new listings. The country’s equities are in a “sweet spot” due to falling interest rates, rising foreign direct investment, credit growth and reasonable valuations, said Thomas Hugger, chief executive officer at Asia Frontier Capital Ltd. in Hong Kong.
