Dow Rising to a Record on Average Every Four Trading Days

The gauge is on pace to have the fourth most record closes ever in a single year

The Dow Jones Industrial Average notched its 32nd record high of 2017, putting it on pace for the most in a single calendar year in more than two decades. That equates to a record roughly once every four trading days. The gauge closed above 22,000 Wednesday, propelled by a rally in Apple Inc. after the iPhone maker’s optimistic sales forecast.
