Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari met Sunday with four state governors from his ruling All Progressive Congress party and a cabinet minister in London over lunch, the presidency said.

Buhari, 74, was “very cheerful” and will return “as soon as the doctors give him the green light,” Femi Adesina, a spokesman, said in an emailed statement. The presidency also released photographs of the president, the first since he departed to the U.K. in May.

Buhari has been in London since May 7, his second trip this year to receive medical treatment for an undisclosed ailment. His absence has fueled concerns about his ability to see through the rest of his first term that ends in 2019.
