Swedish Growth Picked Up at Start of 2017, Survey Signals: Chart

Sweden’s economic tendency survey and strong production data signal that growth in the largest Nordic economy picked up speed at the start of 2017, Olle Holmgren, an analyst at SEB, said. SEB predicts growth accelerated to an annual 3.5 percent in the first quarter, the highest estimate in a Bloomberg survey with a median forecast of 2.9 percent. Swedish GDP data will be revealed on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in Stockholm.
