Equity-Euro Correlation Boosts Appeal of European Stocks: Chart

European equities are showing the strongest correlation with the euro in almost four years. That, together with a fading dollar, makes European stocks more attractive to international investors than their U.S. counterparts, Goldman Sachs analysts Christian Mueller-Glissman and Ian Wright wrote in a recent note. The positive correlation may last as euro-area growth outperforms the pace of expansion in the U.S., they said.
