Drugmakers Aurobindo Pharma Ltd. and Lupin Ltd. are the cheapest stocks in India’s NSE Nifty 50 Index, according to analysts’ forecasts. The 12-month return potential for generics specialist Aurobindo is about 50 percent, while Lupin’s one-year upside exceeds 30 percent, based on the gaps between recent trades and consensus 12-month target prices. Stocks of Indian drug makers have been hammered lately by a wave of scrutiny from U.S. regulators. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. has the fourth highest return potential among companies in the equities gauge, according to the analyst forecasts.
