Billionaire Steven A. Cohen must face claims that he and his former SAC Capital Advisors LP conspired with other funds to smear Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. to drive down the insurer’s stock price.
A New Jersey appeals court Thursday revived Fairfax’s suit against SAC Capital and three other firms which accuses them of spreading false rumors to help a campaign to short the insurer’s stock.
