U.S. Consumer Confidence Index Decreased to 120.3 in April

Consumer confidence decreased in April from a 16-year high, according to a report Tuesday from the New York-based Conference Board. The group’s gauge fell to 120.3 from 124.9 in March.

The median forecast in a Bloomberg survey of economists called for a reading of 122.5.
