Health-Stock Slump Deepens Before Obamacare Repeal Vote

The force behind a selloff in health insurers, hospitals and other stocks with the most at stake in the health-care fight in Washington is gaining momentum before a key vote. The Dow Jones U.S. Select Health Care Providers Index’s moving average convergence-divergence line, or MACD, dropped below the red signal line, indicating downward momentum, a day after House Republicans released their plan on March 6. The bearish trend is accelerating as lawmakers prepare to vote on the measure Thursday.
