U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May won backing from the lower house of Parliament to start divorce talks with the European Union in the first of what could be many votes before the Brexit bill becomes law.

The House of Commons decided by 498 votes to 114 to give May permission to invoke Article 50 of the EU’s Lisbon Treaty. Below is a breakdown of how the political parties voted.
