German Bond Drop Pushes 10-Year Yield Up by Most in 2016: ChartBy
German bonds plunged on Thursday, pushing the nation’s 10-year yield up by the most since December 2015. The bonds declined amid a global selloff in fixed-income assets and after a Reuters report said that the European Central Bank will extend its bond purchases beyond March at next week’s meeting and consider sending a formal signal that purchases will eventually end.
