Swiss Cede Title of World’s Lowest Bond Yields to Czech Republic

For a brief moment, the Czech Republic had the world’s lowest bond yields.

The rate on Czech two-year notes fell to a record low of minus 0.94 percent in early trading on Tuesday, seven basis points below Switzerland’s. It then rose back above the Swiss yield.
