Thailand Mourns as King Bhumibol Dies

Thousands of Thais who gathered outside of Siriraj Hospital on Thursday broke down in tears when the news was announced.

Thailand mourned the death of 88-year-old King Bhumibol Adulyadej on Thursday. The government signaled that his only son would take the throne and called on the nation to avoid “joyful events" for 30 days.
