U.S. Oil Stockpiles Decline to Lowest Level Since January: Chart

U.S. crude-oil stockpiles dropped to the lowest level since January after a fifth-straight weekly decline. Inventories fell by 2.98 million barrels to 499.7 million in the period ended Sept. 30, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday. Even with the decrease, supplies remain at the highest seasonal level in at least three decades. Oil prices climbed on the report.
