Uranium's Glow Dims as Nuclear Fuel Drops to 11-Year Low: Chart

Uranium prices slumped to an 11-year low as brimming global inventories weighed on a market that has yet to recover from the 2011 Fukushima meltdown in Japan. The nuclear fuel is the year’s worst-performing energy commodity, losing 29 percent since January and on track for its biggest drop since 2008. Prices are unlikely to rebound until at least 2019, Kirill Komarov, first deputy head of Rosatom Corp., said last month.
