Tulk Leaves Toronto-Dominion Bank for Fidelity Investments

David Tulk, formerly head of global macro strategy at Toronto-Dominion Bank, is taking a new post at Fidelity Investments.

Tulk will join Fidelity’s Global Asset Allocation team later this year, Chris Pepper, a Toronto-based spokesman for the company, said by e-mail Friday.

A graduate of Queen’s University, Tulk had been in his position at Toronto-Dominion since 2010. He was previously an assistant portfolio manager at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and an economist at the Bank of Canada.

Tulk’s departure from Toronto-Dominion was also confirmed by Alison Ford, manager of corporate communications at TD Securities. His replacement hasn’t been named at this time, Ford said by e-mail Friday.

Tulk couldn’t be reached for comment.
