Danish PM Sees No Parliamentary Majority for Top Tax Cut

Danish Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen no longer sees any scope for winning majority parliamentary backing to push through cuts in the top tax rate, Ritzau said on Saturday.

The tax cuts are being sought by his political ally, the Liberal Alliance. Rasmussen is now asking for negotiations to work through the impasse, Ritzau said.
