Currency Spot Transactions Drop for First Time Since 2001: Chartby
Spot currency trading fell 19 percent to $1.7 trillion a day in April 2016, according to the Bank for International Settlements survey. This was the first decline since 2001, lagging further behind swaps whose use climbed 6 percent to $2.4 trillion.
