London to Add Jubilee Line to Weekend Night Service From Oct. 7

The weekend night service on the London Underground subway system will be expanded to include the Jubilee Line starting Oct. 7, Mayor Sadiq Khan’s office said Friday.

The night service, a pet project of Khan’s predecessor, Boris Johnson, got under way in the early hours last Saturday, almost a year later than initially planned because of wrangles with workers’ unions. Six trains an hour ran on the Central and Victoria lines between 00:30 a.m. and 05:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. More than 100,000 people used the service.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
