Bets of September Fed Rate Hike Hover at Pre-Brexit High: Chart

Odds the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates next month have climbed above 30 percent, almost at the level last seen before Britain announced it voted to leave the European Union, which led global central banks to take steps to contain the fallout. Two months on, Fed officials are signaling the U.S. economy may be strong enough to withstand monetary tightening as early as next month. Fed Chair Janet Yellen is set to speak at a symposium in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, on Friday.
