Berkshire Further Builds Phillips 66 Stake, Buys 704,000 Shares

Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc. purchased an additional 704,000 shares of oil refiner Phillips 66.

The purchases were made between Aug. 22 and Aug. 24, according to a regulatory filing from Buffett’s Omaha, Nebraska-based company on Wednesday. Berkshire held 79.5 million shares following the latest purchases, which would be valued at about $6.17 billion.
